24 - Radiohead - No Surprises - 1998. The video focuses on Tommy York's face as his lip syncs the lyrics of the song. In order to complement this the lyrics of the song scroll down on a glass window. In doing so this has produced a sense of meaning and purpose for the video. Therefore adding value to the song and increasing video sales.

22 - Justin Timberlake - Cry Me A River - 2003. Prior to this video was Britney's 'Baby One More Time'. Justin's video reflected his break up with Britney. In doing so he casts a Brinety look-a-like to be feature in the video.

19 - Madonna - Material Girl - 1985. This video followed in the footsteps of Marilyn Monroe in her movie 'Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend'. However, Madonna's reasoning behind this video was due to the fact that the director of the video was fond of her and continued to give her material gifts - for the 'Material Girl' in a material world.

16 - Outcast - Hey Ya - 2003. Andre 3000 played each character in the band featured in he video. The video portrays how the musical life was like in the 1960's.

12 - Micheal and Janet Jackson - Scream. This was a controversial video as brother and sister deal with the media and the press. In addition this is the most expensive video to date costing approximately $7 million dollars. This could be due to the fact that guitars were being smashed and its effective visual imagery.
